L'azione delle donne nella Costituente

Abstract

This short article intends to reflect on the contribution of the 21 women to the writing of the Italian Constitution Charter together with the 535 deputies and on the exceptional nature of this female presence in the foundation of the Italian Republic. The commitment of these memorable women who have spent themselves for the full and equal recognition of the status of women constitutes the juridical and historical-political premise for the future struggles of women and represents one of the most relevant events in our recent history.
