About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Founded in 1998 by Prof. Franco Cambi, "Studi sulla Formazione" was created
and to today still sets as its goal, the reflecting on the history of pedagogy
and the redevelopment of education and training at the qualitatively highest levels
of pedagogical epistemology and philosophy of education available.
The Journal avails itself of the scientific collaboration of university professors
and researchers at a national and international level of high qualitative prestige
and of the experimentation of the most advanced teaching proposals.
The focus of the journal is centered around the ethical, political and social themes
of education and instruction, with particular reference to authors and research
on the valorization of subjects in their training path from birth to adulthood
and then old age.
Some of the topics covered in the past have been those related to teacher training, school distress, the formative dimension of interaction with new technologies, creativity in the current training, theories on pedagogical complexity, intergenerational epistemological perspectives, training through sport and motor sciences, narratives
as elements of training, reflection on the pedagogical and educational contribution
of Edgard Morin, the relevance of John Dewey, etc.
"Studi sulla formazione" is a scientific, biannual journal, edited through a rigorous double-blind review process that employs a national and international editorial board and peer reviewers.
The Journal is classified in "band A" by Anvur since 2012 because it is recognized
as excellent at an international level for the rigor of its review procedures and for its diffusion, but also for the prestige and epistemological-cultural impact it has
on the community of scholars in the pedagogical-educational sector.
