Abstract

The article aims to examine the jewish origins of don Lorenzo Milani. Judaism is proposed here as a constitutive essence of the human and intellectual structure of the florentine priest, who lived between 1923 and 1967, and considered as a required category to understanding the cultural and pedagogical commitment he carried out among poor people of the time.
