The complex changes of the contemporary society require a multidisciplinary learning approach. These changes are not always perceived by our universities, which still have a large disciplinary and academic fragmentation. Most students continue to specialize in a single sector while innovation in the labour market requires a development of soft skills that goes beyond the disciplines. It is important that the education and training systems respond to these challenges with new study courses that train new professional figures by integrating the development of knowledge and competences at the same time.
