Abstract
In the pandemic era participatory processes have undergone structural transformations both as regards the institutional practices of involving local communities in the construction of tools for territorial governance and public policies, and as regards the plurality of experiences of collective self-organization, which in the face of the health emergency have seen their redefinition and multiplication. The paper questions the consequences of such evidence, reflecting on the Fare Milano experience, promoted in October 2020 by the municipal administration, in the form of a large city forum, aimed at collective reflection on the future of the post-covid city and at restoring itself a strategic direction of growth and to design a scenario for its restart. Significant perspectives and challenges emerge for a re-profiling of the boundaries of civic participation in the post-pandemic era.
