Gli spazi INTERmedi nella citta contemporanea

Abstract

There is another city growing within contemporary cities, a city made of ‘intermediate spaces’. Residual spaces, uncertain and restless, which exploded, both quantitatively and qualitatively, in the new urban reality, becoming one of its characteristic features. These spaces carry with them important questions regarding the ‘right to the city’, modulated on the myriad social and environmental differences, desires and plural movements that characterize it and which, therefore, urge a new reflection on the relationship between democracy and the city.
