Studi e Saggi
Abstract
The increasing interest in Sartre’s art criticism has not yet led to the demolition of the barriers between philosophy, art and literature: Sartre’s writings on art are still considered an aspect of his own general philosophy of imagery. This study aims to focus on the relations between Sartre’s ideas and Lacan’s and Benjamin’s theories on art and to explore, with the tools of stylistics and literary criticism, some narrative aspects of this line of thought in Sartre’s La Nausée.
