Abstract

This article discusses the book by Zhang Gaoheng Migration and the Media. Debating Chinese Migration to Italy, 1992-2012, which focuses on the depiction in various media of Chinese migrants resided in Italy during the twenty years that witnessed the expansion of their ethnic economy, as well as conflicts and reconciliations between the locals and the new residents of the country.
