Information For Authors

Authors interested in submitting to LEA – Lingue e Letterature d’Oriente e d’Occidente are invited to consult the journal’s section policies and Author Guidelines before beginning the submission process.

LEA welcomes original contributions in literature, linguistics, philology, and related interdisciplinary fields, with particular attention to cross-cultural encounters and forms of intellectual, textual, and linguistic exchange.

Author Guidelines

Authors should carefully read the Author Guidelines before uploading a proposal or manuscript.

Online submission

Submissions are managed through the OJS platform. Authors must be registered with the journal before submitting.

To submit a contribution, authors should register with the journal. Authors who already have an account can log in and begin the online submission process.

Essays for Scritture and Studi e saggi must be submitted by May 8 of every year and undergo double-blind peer review. Contributions for Osservatorio must be submitted by June 30 of every year and are not subject to peer review.

LEA is published once a year, in December.
