Abstract
The terme « image » holds many linguistic uses and can be applied to many contexts, with many different meanings. The thesis of the author is that the image's problematic nature is the test-bed for a non naïve ontology. Every image perception is neither a simple nor a double seeing, but an act of seeing where thinking is basically separate, because it provides the cognitive standard to recognize image as a form, or as a quasi-object which somehow « is », and in so far it « is » it offers itself to perception.Metrics
