Abstract

In a context characterized by sociocultural plurality, pedagogy cannot be
limited to transmitting knowledge in a reductionist manner; rather, it must promote
new forms of understanding. This paper examines how the perspective of complexity,
integrated with that of secularity, constitutes a fundamental prerequisite for the
construction of a pedagogical paradigm capable of preparing children – future adults
– to effectively face the challenges of postmodern society.
