Abstract

The current complexity generates a widespread socio-existential disorientation, which becomes timor vivendi for some people. To face this fluidity, a school connected to life should strongly develop in current students creativity, autonomous, flexible and divergent mental habitus, which requires an inclusive classroom environment, one that self-educates, and points to emotional well-being and self-esteem. This brief excursus, which looks from the classical to the present time, moves along this trajectory.
