Abstract
Theombogü is a young poet who has only published one collection of poems. This article aims at giving one possible reading of his poetry by proposing three main patterns of analysis. The first one is ontological reflection on the idea of “nothingness” and the absence of tomorrow, which is the most recurring theme in the author’s work; the second one is the political dimension, mostly expressed by the evocation of some African historical figures; finally, Theombogü’s own conception of poetry as an operation of ferrying verses.Metrics
