Statistica Applicata – The Italian Journal of Applied Statistics, founded in 1967 as “Rivista di Statistica Applicata” and rebranded in 1989 with its current name, is a quarterly, open-access, peer-reviewed journal that promotes empirical, methodological, computational, and epistemological studies in applied statistics.
It is published in digital format and freely available online.

Issue Description
This volume brings together a selection of papers presented at the scientific conference of the ASA (Association for Applied Statistics), held in Rome from 18 to 20 September 2024. It retains the title of the conference, “Measuring and Interpreting World Changes with Statistics, Data Science and AI.”
This volume was annexed as a supplement of the volume 37-2 (2025) of the scientific journal Statistica Applicata – Italian Journal of Applied Statistics. Scholars can freely download the articles in an open access format, with the only obligation to cite the paper, possibly as follows:
