Abstract
The Museum and Monument to Political and Racial Deportees, which Studio BBPR designed and located in the southern section of Palazzo dei Pio, a Renaissance building with a wing-shaped layout oriented towards the Via Emilia, represents an act of architectural rootedness carried out through the reiteration, in a contemporary key, of the ancient centuriated measures of the Po Valley region, as if to reaffirm the fundamental correspondence between building, city and landscape.process.
