Abstract
This article examines the challenges posed by generative artificial intelligence by analysing literary texts produced in artistic and aesthetic projects in France and Germany. It highlights that many of the questions raised today by tools such as ChatGPT - particularly those concerning authorship, intentionality and intertextuality - were evident in the initial stages of experimentation with automatically generated literature. The article proposes additional criteria for analysing AI-generated texts, drawing on concepts from textual and enunciative linguistics in order to develop a broader analytical framework for evaluating texts produced using automatic text generation systems of any kind.
