Abstract

The text addresses the question of the new nomadism that developed in the United States during the middle decades of the 20^th century, and whose icon was the Airstream mobile home. It transforms the idea of architecture and the city, no longer interpreted as the carriers of a stable identity, but as an analogous heritage in which time and space are united by the movement, which becomes the only way to produce and appreciate the experience of architecture.
