Abstract
In 1992, Peter Märkli designed a small building in Giornico to serve as a space for housing several pieces by the sculptor Hans Josephsohn. The building, with its simple forms and materials, invites the visitor to reflect on the language of architecture and the thin line separating silence from the word. It presents itself as an abstract volume, where natural light alone reveals and gives meaning to things.
