Abstract

L’Hakka Indenture Museum è opera che rivela i nodi concettuali che sottendono l’operare dell’atelier DnA_Design and Architecture; tra essi: il contesto sempre inteso come res-singularis, risorsa fisico-ambientale unica e irripetibile, la condizione sussistente come nutrimento del progetto, attenzione alla fenomenalità delle cose e alle memorie in esse coagulate, la scrittura compositiva come sottile esercizio sulle matrici tipologiche, l’applicazione tecnico-artigiana come eminente testimonianza culturale, il sentimento vivissimo di un’etica sociale del fare.

The Hakka Indenture Museum is a work that reveals the essential conceptual elements that underlie the way in which atelier DnA_Design and Architecture operates; among them: the context, always understood as res-singularis, as a unique and unrepeatable physical-environmental resource, the existing condition as nourishment for the project, a careful attention to the phenomenality of things and to the memories they carry with them, compositional writing as a subtle exercise on typological matrices, technical-artisanal implementation as outstanding cultural evidence, and the vivid feeling of a social work ethic.
