Il silenzio della montagna

Abstract

Le forme del paesaggio e la vita quotidiana ripetuta delle genti di montagna. Il loro silenzio. Fotografo e giornalista
(Terzolas 1933-Trento 2005) Flavio Faganello traguarda, mette in fila, testimonia e riordina il lavoro antico nel far
terrazze a fermar trattenere l’acqua sui pendii, il taglio netto di un muro, la base di una casa in pietra che verso
l’alto è filtrata da graticciate e balconi in legno che finiscono nel tetto, l’affettuosa intimità di un interno. L’archivio, è
virtualmente ricomposto per la primavera e l’estate 2025 in una mostra ospitata presso il Museo Diocesano Trentino.
Documenti di un tempo lento che dagli Anni Sessanta in poi del secolo passato vive una grande trasformazione;
immagini che colgono anticipazioni veloci e rituali antichi svolti secondo lo scorrere delle stagioni.

The shapes of the landscape and the repetitive daily life of mountain people. Their silence. Photographer and journalist (Terzolas 1933-Trento 2005) Flavio Faganello observes, lines up, bears witness to and reorganises the ancient work of building terraces to retain water on the slopes, the clean cut of a wall, the base of a stone house filtered upwards by wooden trellises and balconies ending in the roof, the affectionate intimacy of an interior. The archive has been virtually recomposed for spring and summer 2025 in an exhibition hosted at the Trentino Diocesan Museum. Documents of a slow time that has undergone a great transformation since the 1960s; images that capture quick glimpses and ancient rituals performed according to the passing of the seasons.
