Una possibile risposta alla crisi della partecipazione e della rappresentanza: il partito-movimento e il caso Podemos

Abstract

The article deals with the new political forms of organisation and the party change, in a sociological and political science perspective. Wondering about the electoral success of new political actors and the crisis of the traditional one, it is introduced by the party-movement category. The article is divided into three parts. The first part discusses the salience of the classical political categories, while the second part provides an analysis of a single case study: the Spanish party-movement Podemos. Finally, bridging the literature and the empirical field, the third part suggests an interpretation about the features of the new political party. The findings show the emergence of a hybrid form challenging the political parties of the past century in organizing and answering for the needs of civil society.
