Abstract

Examined in its abstract nature, the power is a key element of any social relationship, a priori not amenable to negative evaluations. Only an analysis that takes into account the context in which power is exercised, the relationships it establishes and the symbolic aspects on which it supports, it is able to distinguish between power as a physiological mode of human relations and its degenerate and pathological forms as the paranoia.
