“Democrazia marocchina” e Movimento del 20 Febbraio: <em>Primavera</em> si, purché non troppo <em>araba</em>

Abstract

In the context of the Arab Spring, Morocco has become the theater of lively protests headed by the youth-led February 20 Movement. This article will investigate the reasons of its failure in bringing about radical change by relating these reasons to the features of the Moroccan model of “democratic transition”.
