La théorie de la modernité de Max Weber et la voie chinoise à la modernisation

Abstract

In political and sociological debate, China is becoming an interesting field of research among the world's most important countries. The author highlights the socio-historical processes that have characterized the Chinese path to modernization. Starting from Weber's theory of modernization, and from its heuristic limitations in interpreting the social change in China, the author argues some characteristic features of Chinese modernization.
