Abstract
The high-speed station in Afragola is a long bridge over the railway tracks which goes beyond the infrastructure and settles softly on the ground, as if seeking correspondences with Mount Vesuvius. The construction of the form originates in experimentations on the transformation of static spaces into dynamic spaces, in search of movement in space. This article inquires into the correspondence between architectural research and the Arab soul of Zaha Hadid, as a possible interpretative key for her work.
