Gianugo Polesello - Porta e ponte a Padova est

Abstract

Gianugo Polesello creates a new Gestalt for the new Padova est motorway toll booth. A composition which includes different scales while assuming the artificial landscape of the motorway as its place: a new central place-hub in the infrastructure system of the Venetian metropolitan area, a 'gateway-bridge', a Tür which, opening toward the city and the territory becomes Brücke.
