Architettura del buio e della luce

Abstract

Il saggio dà un'idea del rapporto stretto, del combattimento e dell'inestricabile abbraccio tra la luce e il buio, che si vede al massimo grado sulla superficie in movimento dell’acqua, dove queste scie vengono a formare cattedrali fiabesche e liquide coricate sulla linea dell’orizzonte. Pertanto, sorgono alcune domande: il buio potrebbe materializzarsi e assumere forme architettoniche? Potrebbero esistere delle architetture in un mondo completamente buio? E, nel caso, come sarebbero queste architetture?

The essay gives an idea of the close relationship, of the battle and inextricable embrace between light and darkness, which is best observed on the moving surface of water, which is where these trails form fabulous liquid cathedrals that rest on the horizon. Therefore, some questions rise: could darkness ever materialise and take on an architectural form? Could architecture exist in a world completely submerged in darkness? And, if this were the case, what would these architectures look like?
