Abstract

Nello sguardo trascendente dell’uomo, attraverso la vivente materia della natura, la coscienza crea, proietta e plasma nell’esterno un’immagine nuova e viva del mondo. Nell’esperienza di Chiaramonte l’immagine è propriamente la coscienza che l’uomo ha di non poter coincidere con la realtà della natura data, neppure con quella realtà che lui stesso è, nella consapevolezza della propria vita come di una dimensione irriducibile alla morte.

In the transcendent gaze of man, through the living matter of nature, consciousness creates, projects and shapes in the exterior a new and living image of the world. In Chiaramonte’s experience, the image is precisely man’s consciousness of not being able to coincide with the reality of the given nature, not even with the reality that he himself is, in the awareness of his own life as a dimension that is irreducible to death.
