Abstract

This brief essay attempts, through the figure of Ermenegildo Zegna, the industrialist who in 1910 founded a textile industry with the aim of excelling with English-quality textiles, to analyse the role played by the landscape, during the second after-war period, in the definition of a new type of entrepreneurship and in the design of work-spaces, trying to show how the attention and care for the territory can become the basis for the management and culture of an Italian fashion company.
