Abstract

Radioastronomy at Arcetri began in the ‘50s, with the first solar radiotelescopes. As of the ‘80s, the radioastronomy group focused on digital signal processing techniques and the design of electromagnetic optical components. It contributed to several receivers and spectrometers for Italian antennas and for astronomic satellites and to correlators for large interferometers like ALMA and SKA.
