Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The author(s) authorize the Editorial Team to screen the submission using Crossref Similarity Check (iThenticate) to verify its originality.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness. Where available, URLs for the references must be provided.
  • Authors must hold all rights to the original Work submitted without any restrictions. Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets, and other material provided with this submission.

Author Guidelines

All manuscripts must contain the following essential elements needed to convey your manuscript according to TEMA Template (Title Page + Cover Letter):

  • Title (maximum 20 words);
  • Abstract (maximum 350 words);
  • Keywords (maximum 5);
  • Text, composed of Introduction, Methods, Discussion and results, Conclusions;
  • References. Try to avoid or limit self-citations.

All manuscripts must be written in English. Divide the article into clearly defined sections. 

Authors should be aware that the submission must contain:

  • The article must be submitted in .docx (.doc) format with figures, tables, and captions.

This license lets others distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon your Work, even commercially, as long as they credit you for the original creation. This is the most accommodating of licenses offered. Recommended for maximum dissemination and use of licensed materials.
