Abstract
At Queen Victoria Gardens in Melbourne, Tadao Ando has designed the tenth pavilion commissioned by the Naomi Milgrom Foundation. In the heart of the Australian city, the architect reinterpreted the traditional features of the Japanese garden using just a few essential elements, thus creating an enclosed space conceived as a sheltered and protected place of gathering, where natural and man-made order come together in harmony.
