Abstract

On the occasion of the 450th anniversary of Galileo’s birth, three events have been organised by "Il Colle di Galileo”: the lecture by Prof. P. Molaro “On a possible youthful portrait of Galileo” and the play “Galileo vs. Shakespeare” by M. Lazzerini, both at Villa Il Gioiello in Arcetri; and a full day presentation dedicated to the pupils of secondary schools on the relation between Galileo and astronomy, literature, music , and the arts.
