Abstract

This project aims to exploit low-resolution UV spectroscopic observations from the MAUVE mission to investigate the nature and origin of exotic stellar populations, with a particular focus on binary evolution pathways. MAUVE is the first private space-based mission dedicated entirely to astrophysical research developed by Blue Skies Space Ltd (BSSL), based in the UK and Italy. Launched on November 28, 2025, MAUVE has finished its ramp-up phase and since August 2026 has entered full scientific operations.
